In partnership with Varsity Sports Now (VSN)<\/a>, REV has a full lineup of exciting matchups each week including schools from 13 parishes across South Louisiana such as Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and West Baton Rouge.<\/p>\n “Our partnership with Ascension Parish Schools laid the groundwork for our success with Game of the Week, and today, we are excited to replicate that hometown achievement in other communities we serve,” says Josh Descant, REV\u2019s CEO. “Celebrating 90 years in business, REV is proud to see the expansion of our local sports coverage \u2013 matching the growing demand of our fiber internet service we deliver across South Louisiana.”<\/p>\n This year marks the 20th anniversary of REV Game of the Week, which began in Ascension Parish with weekly game rebroadcasts. Coverage now features two or three livestreamed sporting events each week and, since 2020, includes annual REV Tailgate Shows highlighting local high school students from multiple parishes.<\/p>\n “Over the past 20 years, REV’s Game of the Week has evolved and grown into a full-scale, high-quality production every Friday night during football season,” says Tressy Leindecker, REV\u2019s EVP of Sales and Marketing. “We are thrilled to not only continue our commitment to bringing live coverage of local high school football in Ascension Parish, but now we have the opportunity to broadcast more local games to our viewers in other markets.
